Well played, Ava Anderson Non Toxic, Well Played.

Recently, some of you might have came across the news that Ava Anderson has REBRANDED. The Anderson family has stepped down and decided to let the executive leadership take over.

http://us11.campaign-archive2.com/?u=02c2be413ffa7159b57d0d3a3&id=8614349c85&e=598f818e2d

I am just speechless. It is a Well Played scenario after some truths regarding the company is being exposed (that they lied regarding fragrances, dish soap, and labeling omission)

My opinion will just try to focus on 2 things in that Ava Anderson Non Toxic campaign news:
1) "We hope as parents that you will be able to understand that our daughter has been under attack online and in person, and has been tethered to social media for years,"
To put pity on Ava Anderson? Is she really being under attack in person and online? (again, it can just be marketing.
They just wrote last year that Ava Anderson is facing NO GROWING PAINS!
http://pbn.com/Ava-Anderson-Non-Toxic-faces-no-growing-pains,104740

And just now, this campaign email? Is it because just recently (within 2 weeks, Ava Anderson Non Toxic just got exposed for 1) using synthetic fragrances 2) Label omissions/ Non trustworthy ingredients labelling 3) The dish soap is NOT soap?

What a convenient way out NOW! This about it. So, this means no responsibility and dodging potential lawsuits.

And oh, I don't think anyone is attacking Ava and Kim personally, it is the company "Ava Anderson Non Toxic" that is being exposed! Just like how AANT like to exposed other companies.... Look at the image below:

Ava Anderson Non Toxic Bashing other companies
Also, if you choose to put your company in pedestal, grow a thicker skin. Especially if Ava and Kim chooses to RUN the company, otherwise just sit back and be the board of director or investors.
Being the "FACE" of the Ava Anderson Non Toxic company will always have challenges. Just as any other companies.

I see this is just "marketing" gimmick to take a convenient way out to REBRAND.

2) "There will be no further returns, refunds or exchanges. "I sincerely feel bad for customers and consultants that finally see the truth of Ava Anderson Non Toxic company. With this "rebranding" basicly AANT just refuse to take responsibility. Like always. AANT does not own up their mistakes. Constantly blaming on manufacturers (not just once) does not ring well to my ears.

My personal motto: "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, Shame on me"
So yeah, with this, I refused to be fooled again.

Please, stay away from Ava Anderson Non Toxic, even on the new brand.
I am praying that customers and consultants can see truth with open eyes and heart.

Sorry, Ava Anderson Non Toxic, I really just do not buy your stories (as a company)
Any publishing I have on Ava Anderson Non Toxic is always written as my opinion towards the AANT company.

Ava Anderson Non Toxic LIED - Greenwasher

Would you be upset if you found out that you have been lied to? I would. I AM UPSET.

Ava Anderson party was my very first non-toxic party that I attended, which happen to be my first facebook party ever as well. I was very impressed with the presentation and ended up buying few items: AA's dream cream, all purpose cleaner, deep conditioner, and boo boo stick.

If you have been to any AA party, the very first toxic ingredient that they highlight will most likely be FRAGRANCE. Couple days ago, I just found out about this email:

http://us11.campaign-archive2.com/?u=02c2be413ffa7159b57d0d3a3&id=429366d9d2&e=5795137628

Ava Anderson Synthetic Fragrance Recalled Products

WHAT? How can Ava Anderson just found out about this? NO Quality Control??
A company at the size of Ava Anderson with few manufacturing facilities should have periodic check to their suppliers otherwise how can you trust any of their other lines do not have anything "toxic" ?!?!

Anyhow, then of course I do further research.....
I found out about this:

http://us11.campaign-archive2.com/?u=02c2be413ffa7159b57d0d3a3&id=464cd2df56&e=4c7d1ecc81

Ava Anderson is NOT all about the ingredients
The second part of the party would say that "Read your labels, it is all about the ingredients"
so, what if the ingredients get omitted?!?! One would argue, it is all "safe" ingredients. But, who to decide? What is someone is allergic to olive oil?!
PLEASE...I am getting more furious. This is unacceptable. Now I feel that I have been to a party where everything said was LIES!
Also, especially when it already happened before that zinc dioxide was omitted in their diaper cream. Don't Ava Anderson have learnt from their mistake?!

NOW.......looking back, If I would have attended Ava Anderson party, knowing this, I would leave as soon as these 2 points are brought out because the party is full of LIES.

1) Ava Anderson contains synthetic fragrance
2) Ava Anderson omitted ingredients from the labels. So the label cannot be trusted.

Current Poofy Organics Fave Product: Orange Lavender Herbal Shampoo Bar

I started using orange lavender shampoo bar when I had to travel to Asia last month.
Thinking of TSA-friendly skin care, I load up my luggage with Poofy Organics orange lavender shampoo bar and lotion stick.
It takes a while to get used to using the shampoo bar as they lather differently from liquid shampoo.
At first, I feel that I over-rubbing it into my hair and I am not rinsing it well enough. But, after using the shampoo bar for a month, i am in love!

I love the convenience of using just a bar for my whole body.
I love that the shampoo bar actually leave my hair in perfect state (I wash my hair everyday and I used to feel that liquid shampoo is drying my hair and conditioner leaves my hair oilier than I expected- So I used to use just deep conditioner just every few days) Now with the shampoo bar, my hair feels much healthier and easier to style. I had couple people commented on how nice my new hair looks :)
I love that the shampoo bar is relatively cheap and last a while.
Last but not least, i love the smell of the orange lavender!

The top question people asked me about the shampoo bar:
How do you use it?It is simple. Just get your hair wet, take the bar and rub it  over your scalp and down your hair. Then put the bar away and massage your scalp and hair to work it into a wonderful lather. Lastly, make sure you have a very good  and clean rinse. Voila!

My tips, do not forget to use Soap Lift to make your bar soap last longer.

Ava Anderson Essential Oils NOT organic- in violation with USDA

I am all for companies that strive to provide safe havens away from harmful chemicals. However, I dislike companies that is not truthful. Marketing products as something that it is not, is considerably a fraud! I am very disappointed with this news and saddened.
I still can not wrap it in my mind why million dollars company like Ava Anderson is not providing us with USDA Organics products.
I am all for the USDA Organic certification and the seal. I have posted information about how rigorous the process of obtaining the USDA Organic seal here: http://creatingsafehaven.blogspot.com/2015/11/how-important-is-usda-certified.html

And this is another GREEN and SAFE company that speaks about USDA Organic Certification well: http://bubbleandbee.blogspot.com/2014/08/can-usda-organic-be-trusted.html
I support Bubble and Bee's statement: "Of course, it always helps to buy your organic products from sources you trust, and companies that have demonstrated their dedication to organic standards." and with that, I choose to NOT use Ava Anderson products because I just cannot trust Ava Anderson.

Ava Anderson Essential Oils in violation with USDA

One of the Ava Anderson's page posted this "“USDA Organic” is simply a marketing term now, unfortunately. And did you know that the goal of the USDA has always been to increase agricultural sales, not promote organic farming? It's ALL about the ingredients. NO seal, stamp, buzzwords or "certifications" mean very much, unfortunately." with a link to here: http://www.realfarmacy.com/usda-organic-labels-no-longer-trustworthy/#dQsq12tY6wwGqsv3.99

What a joke?!

USDA ORGANIC CERTIFICATION SEAL means INTEGRITY and ACCOUNTABILITY.
I, personally, prefer products with USDA Organics seal.
